Medical aluminum foil quality requirements
The raw material used for the production of
medical aluminum foil is pure aluminum foil for industrial use. Generally, the thickness is 0.02mm, the tensile strength is 98kPa, the breaking strength is 90kPa, the surface is clean, smooth, wrinkle-free, no indentation damage, no fluorescent substance, surface The wetting tension is not less than 32. The
medical aluminum foil material is made of 99% electrolytic aluminum, which is made by post-delay treatment, non-toxic and tasteless, has high-quality conductivity and light-shielding, and has high moisture resistance and gas barrier property.
The needle hole of
aluminum foil for medicinal and health foods is required to have a pinhole of 0.1 to 0.3 mm in diameter of not more than 1/m2. Because pinholes in
aluminum foil are penetrating defects, health foods and medicines are invaded by oxygen, water vapor and light, which may reduce or deteriorate the efficacy. Therefore, the requirements for pinholes are very strict; in addition, the thickness of
aluminum foil exceeds the requirements. The deviation (10%) has an effect on the amount of the adhesive layer and the protective layer applied.
The aluminum foil used in the blister packaging of the medicine is a sealing material sealed on the plastic rigid sheet, also called a lid material, and is generally called PTP medicinal aluminum foil. It is based on hard industrial aluminum foil and has the advantages of non-toxicity, corrosion resistance, impermeability, hygienic heat resistance and moisture resistance. It is easy to be sterilized by high temperature and can block light, which can protect medicines from light damage. The aluminum foil cover material is printed on the printing coater before the sealing with the plastic hard sheet, and is coated with a protective agent, and the other side of the aluminum foil is coated with an adhesive.
The purpose of applying the protective agent is to prevent mechanical abrasion of the ink image on the surface of the aluminum foil, and also to prevent contamination of the outer foil with the inner layer of the adhesive when the aluminum foil is mechanically wound. The effect of the coating adhesive is to provide good adhesion between the aluminum foil and the plastic rigid sheet.
